Sally had never owned a smartphone. Her colleagues at the charity shop where she volunteered said she was old-fashioned. But Sally was happy being frumpy and dull.
But one day Henry came to buy a smart jacket for a wedding.
'It's not my wedding, though I would like it to be,' said Henry. If I was to marry someone like your good self.'
Sally blushed and felt a powerful butterfly deep in her stomach, desperate to break free.
'Might I leave my number for you?' Henry inquired. 'I don't have a mobile, perhaps you could write it on my handkerchief.'
